74 Years of Tradition
Alpha Eta Rho (AHP) was founded on the campus of the University of Southern California on April 10, 1929 by Earl W. Hill with the mission of spreading the joy of aviation to like-minded individuals. AHP continued to grow in size and reputation, eventually making its way to Florida Tech in 1974 and beginning our Sigma Alpha chapter that we know today. We pride ourselves on keeping our legacy alive by expanding our chapter, giving back to our community, and promoting aviation as a whole. We encourage you to come be apart of our community and look forward to fostering a new generation of Alpha Eta Rho at Florida Tech.

What is AHP?
Alpha Eta Rho is a nationwide, professional co-ed aviation fraternity. The Sigma Alpha chapter is proud to be the largest in the world with over 80 active members. We work tirelessly to promote our motto “Collegiate Aviation Leaders of Today... Aviation Industry Leaders of Tomorrow” while enjyoing the brother and sisterhood our fraternity offers. The Sigma Alpha chapter at the Florida Institute of Technology fosters lifelong friendships while maintaining the highest level of professionalism.

Vision
Alpha Eta Rho has left its ever lasting mark on the aviation industry. AHP is committed to nurturing student leaders in aviation by providing educational resources, mentorship programs, and scholarships. We have played a crucial role in shaping the next generation of aviation professionals by fostering a prosperous culture of striving for excellence. We have no intention of slowing down anytime soon.

Oh ya, we build rockets too...
Our diverse group of active members and alumni also work as aerospace engineers at companies like NASA, SpaceX, and Blue Origin.
